Field Service Engineer (Vietnam)

• Set up and commission new machine installations at customer’s side
• Understand client expectations and provide technical feedback and failure analysis from customer side to R&D and Engineering Department, provide aligned solutions to meet client satisfaction
• To monitor and track major projects and perform technical presentations to customers if necessary
• Able to answer technical question and provide recommendations or solutions for application of machines at customers’ sites
• Monitor machine performance regularly and perform data mining and analysis to provide recommendations for improvement
• Manage the machine performance data on key customer and drive for improvement before the issue being escalated
• Works on problems of diverse scope where data analysis is required evaluation of identifiable factors
• Requires working closely with R&D and PDE team for complex issue investigation and solution implementation
• Develop knowledge-based repository for FAQs and documentation
• Travelling would be needed to fulfil job responsibilities
• Work overtime when needed or assigned to complete tasks or breakdown support
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)/Computer Engineering/Physics/ Applied Science/ Mechatronics or equivalent engineering discipline
• Applicants must be able to travel within Vietnam and SEA region, as per assigned by Superior
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in relevant filed
• Experience in handle low and high UPH Die Sorting Platform with Vision Inspections
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to learn and work hard
• Able to work independently
• Team player and ability to work within multiracial environment
• Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Possess teamwork spirit and positive attitude
• Good and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environment
• Semiconductor working experience in similar position is preferable
• Must possess own transport
• Microsoft Office, Excel & Power Point skills
• Professional working proficiency in Vietnamese and English is required
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
