Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Customer Service Manager. Huntsman Performance Products (HPP) is looking for a Customer Service Manager to join our team in our newly set up Shared Service Office supporting our APAC customers. This individual will lead a Customer Service team and guide the team into a structured way of working with strong governance, while continue to coach & develop the team and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will also develop management reports and presentations on the region’s performance.

The Customer Service Manager reports into the Supply Chain Manager and is given an opportunity to develop new skills and overcome obstacles each day in a fast-paced environment.

This individual also acts as the PP hub lead in the KL office, where he/she is excepted to coach 3-4 lead team members that do not report directly to him/her. This individual will also maintain a strong working relationship amongst the team members and continue to keep the team motivated.

A day in the life of a Customer Support Manager is fast-paced and spent on troubleshooting while managing operational excellence. The Customer Service Manager is a team lead role tasked with providing Huntsman Performance Product highest service levels.

As a Customer Service Manager, you will be supporting Regional Commercial Managers. You will be working together with the Supply Chain Team to ensure smooth customer experience.

As the PP hub lead in the KL office, you participate in Management meetings with other divisions/departments team managers and make decisions for the best interests of PP team in KL. You will also coach and support developmental needs of other PP team members in KL Hub.

The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

As a Customer Service Manager you will:

Enable the Customer Service Team to provide an excellent, customer-centric experience by holding the team accountable and removing roadblocks.

Have a deep understanding of the Huntsman’s products

Manage escalated issues from customers, commercial managers or other team members

Monitor the team’s performance and reporting on key KPIs

Explore ways to improve performance, efficiency, and efficacy

Providing insights from customer data to marketing and sales. This information can help grow the organization

Collaborate with teammates, support personnel, and stakeholders to evaluate ambiguous, complex situations and quickly execute decisions

Uphold processes and policies in support of organizational goals

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

4 years university degree or above, preferably major in Chemical/ Trade/ Finance (or)

Minimum 5 years team management experience. Chemical industry is a plus

Indent sales order management, SOX Order to Cash management, Incoterms

Experience in handling DG cargo, managed products such as IBC, drums, palletized containers and isotanks

High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude and independent, good interpersonal skills, good written & communication skills in English, good communication skills in Mandarin, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & presentation skills, SAP
